There's a really good article in the New York Times about M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.I've been reading Dr. Grumpy in the House for a few months now and while I enjoy it all (maybe it's because I worked in a hospital, maybe it's just because he's pretty funny) I recommend two articles Your Insurance Premiums at Work and Annie's Song. Insurance company issues from the perspective of the physician. What would your insurance company call you? A dog? A trainwreck? The death panels seem to be rig... Read Full Story

For the liquid-based cytology (use of cells), the cervical cells are collected with a traditional sampling... Read Full Story
I went to the local Pink ribbon event a couple of weeks ago. It's held at a lovely resort at Wrightsville Beach that has a three story parking deck. It took me about 15 minutes to find it and honestly there weren't that many vehicles there.I have chemo brain. At least that's what I think I have but I'll never be completely sure if that's what it is. You see, not only did I have chemo but I also... Read Full Story
Ms. Diana Furchtgott Roth is an economist with lots of experience in the White House when it's been in Republican hands, working for Presidents Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. I don't think she expected Senator Franken.I actually wish that he had more time because the agenda that she is trying to sell is opposing health care reform; claiming that is will cause more medical bankruptcies and that it will harm women. I think she's spent so much time with wealthy politicians she does... Read Full Story

He's only able to do this because a couple of years a... Read Full Story
