Have finally got into a schedule with my writing on SquidLog and thanks to a suggestion from my lovely SquidPal Chef Keem I am finding a seemingly inexhaustible range of topics that expand on my area of particular interest: Squidoo Etiquette.
So far I have covered the Squidoo Angels, Twitter, the SquidU Forum and Multiple Accounts on Squidoo. Next week sees the turn of Guestbook Etiquette.
Recently I have also started up a new blog on Crabby’s Beach, where I am musing on Green and Envir... Read Full Story

Spam on Squidoo is a big problem but most of the time I just delete it without much of a thought and try to focus on the positive - after all it counts as a visit, which in turn helps my Squidoo lensrank and I can quickly delete their pathetic attempts to establish a backlink. However, today I could not help but wonder at the idiocy of my latest Spammer. A link on the plexo for my wheat free dieting lens that directed me to a UK company called Creative Inventions.According to their portfolio:I... Read Full Story

Yesterday saw the announcement of a new group of Angels on Squidoo. As far as I can see, only nine Angels remain from the cohort appointed in April and I am really proud to be one of them. This leaves 23 new haloes being polished up (or being retrieved from storage) ready to take to the Squidoo sky.
Following feedback received from the last group of Angels, each Angel will only have three categories to watch over this time around instead of five, which should make the task of helping the R... Read Full Story

Back in March I received an email from someone who is probably my main mentor on Squidoo as well as being a dear friend. Chef Keem asked me if I would become an Author on SquidLog. And so saw the start of a great new dimension to our relationship.
It took awhile for me to get into the swing of things and recently The Chef and I came up with the idea of me writing on a very specific topic, but one that had so much to write about that it would be a long, long time before I ran out of ideas.

It’s the end of a quarter and I am having a Feng Shui moment on Squidoo. Time to take stock and re-evaluate.
Do you have lists of things you would like to do, but never seem to get done? I do. In fact I have various lists. Some of them are public.
I have a lens that is a list: 10 things I want to do. Then there’s the list on one of my Lensographies AJ is Always Juggling. Then there’s the various To Do Lists in my Squidoo notebook….
Looking back at these lists I realise... Read Full Story

Buy at AllPosters.comWe have a lot of woodmice in our garden. The conditions are ideal. We keep rabbits, which means there's a lot of bedding and food available and the garden is not "over manicured", so it is easy for them to go about their day to day business unseen.Well, the mice probably think we don't see them but we spot them all the time. Sometimes they are just a couple of feet away, like the one who did not spot us watching him from just the other side of our patio door as it helped ... Read Full Story

You can create a wonderfully spooky atmosphere with the right Halloween lights, but you can also do your bit for the environment. Nothing scares the children quite so much as a dark, spooky house!
So turn off your normal lights and use orange and purple LED lighting instead. You'll frighten the children (heh, heh) and you will help the planet as well!
This lens tells you how to reduce your energy consumption to have a more eco-friendly Halloween. There's also information about the harmful c... Read Full Story
