One of my many geeky hobbies as a teen was writing celebs for autographs. I gathered quite a collection over the years, but some unfortunate things happened between moves and I lost them all when I started college. I was disheartened, but my husband encouraged me to start over. So, once a week, we've been writing various Hollywood types we appreciate for autographs. I recently acquired a terrific playmat for my geeklings from a new toy company called Charlie's Playhouse . This company was founded by Dr. Kate Miller, a mother and scientist who saw a lack of educational toys focusing on evolution.
