How to create a 3D animated logo by using “Google SketchUp” and Adobe Photoshop Extended

The 3D files( .u3d, .3ds, .obj, .kmz, and Collada) created by programs like Adobe acrobat 3D version8, 3D studio Max, Alias, Maya, and Google Earth can be opened in Photoshop extended.
Photoshop places 3D files on a separate 3D layer, so you can use the 3D Tools to move, scale , or animate them. To edit the 3D object itself, you must use a 3D program.
Unlike the other expensive 3D programs “Google SketchUp 7” is a free and very useful 3D program which can provide us with a wide range of 3D objects. The software can be downloaded at http://sketchup.google.com/ . If you are not familiar with the software there is a training link on that page too which is very useful.
