Big news! I just received this email:

While walking on the beach this morning with my husband and two dogs in Bayville, NY we saw this ugly looking dead animal. I called my son Michael an Environmental Scientist, he told me about the Montauk Monster. I read about it on Newsday.com and lo and behold it is the same thing. There is no way this is a raccoon or any other kind of animal I haved ever seen before. It is in good condition.

This creature was found by a pair of “dog walkers” in a Northern Ontario creek last week. As I’ve been following the story closely and gathering the facts, a few questions still remained unanswered:
