A few weeks ago some friends of ours tackled " The Tail of the Dragon " in Deals Gap, NC. It consists of of 318 curves in 11 miles. Now in a car that would be a challenge, but on a motorcycle it's down right treacherous. Certainly not for the beginner cyclist and more certainly not for me! I'm just not that daring. OK, this is a bit of a rant...BUT I am a little perturbed by the government officials who are supposedly trying to protect us. Well the dog is gone. In case you haven't been following along we got a Beagle puppy yesterday because my daughter loves dogs. He was adorable and when we got him home things seemed to be going well...until about 11pm. I am an Asthma sufferer, I have been my entire life but I mostly have my symptoms under control. After watching hours and hours of Inauguration coverage today I'm trying to be optimistic. I like Barack Obama. I think he's a good man, a good father and a good person. My Tree is not Marilyn Mason ugly, just unsightly ugly. It didn't start off that way. I actually got a really nice (or so I thought) new pre-lit tree from BJ's.
