Life! Oh Life…
I keep saying I’ll update frequently, but I’m such a procrastinator, even with my hobbies!
Life has been moving along nicely for me, I suppose. School’s started; I’m already in my fourth week of classes. My Investing professor is driving me nuts, but most of my classes are rather simple and unstressful. Media Arts has been hectic, though. I had to step outside a lot of my comfort zones in order to complete our first project…namely, use a DV camera instead of my own digital one. What’s worse? We had to edit it on-camera…no post-editing work allowed! It was nuts! But it’s done and handed in. I helped out Ed and Dana’s projects too, so I got to be in three films. XD Haha, my prof is going to be sick of seeing my face.
I’m hard at work with TPE editing. I made the decision to get rid of two characters, who incidently were very important and had a lot of dialogue. Sooo, I had to move things around, change people’s powers/roles…urgh. It was crazy. But I’m nearly done!
Kel couldn’t film anything this weekend but next weekend should work out for the first scene of episode one!
I moved my furniture around in my room yesterday and its still a mess (b/c of homework diverting my attentions of course), but I really like the layout now. It seems larger. After tidying up the mess, my next target is my closet…I want to condense, simplify and organize my living space. XD
I also attempted to work on The Manigoldo. Eh…I added a few paragraphs, not much. :\ The beginning of stories are never my strongest, strangely. I want to get this published within a few years (haha, I know, yeah right), so I have to get moving on it soon.
And did I mention that I want to start working on Smiley (the comic) now? *headdesk* Yeah. I think I have Creative A.D.D..
RANDOM STORY: Surfing the web always gets me to interesting sites or information. In case you didn’t know, I despise organized religions. I mean, I don’t care what you believe spiritually, but organized religious groups piss me off for a lot of reasons. So, while reading up on a blog I sometimes frequent, I realized the author was LDS…more commonly known as Mormon (lolChris). I had always thought they were just another branch off Christian group. To my surprise, I found out a lot of info from sites all over the web which led me to one real conclusion:
Holy fuck those guys are nuts.
Lol, like wow. I was blown away. They now top my list of crazy-ass religious cults, Scientology being number one and Mormons now a close second. People can believe whatever they want, but geez…when your religious ideals start to reflect back on me, my life, or somehow even interfere with my life…then I have issues with you. But, meh. Not really my concern right now.
Well, I got to go finish an essay for English and then hopefully get back to cleaning my room. Aaand I just remembered I had an unrelated English assignment too. Toodles!
