As Rivera notched up his 501st save, the Yankees notched up their 6th win in a row. After losing the first game to Atlanta a week ago, the Yankees seemed to be in a downward tailspin, but they took the last two, swept the Mets, and now look strong against Seattle. A-rod hit a 2 run HR to put the Yankees up 5-3 but Bruney couldn't hold the lead in the 8th and gave those two runs back. However, an "old-school" Yankee rally put them back up by three, and Rivera came in to recor... Read Full Story

The Jets signed Mario off the Bengals practice squad this past week. He is a 6'6 wideout from Lousiville who was drafted in the 7th round of the 2008 draft. While he may not be a perennial pro-bowler he could give the Jets a large target, especially in the red-zone.If you have questions or comments, please post or email me at countzacky@yahoo.com. Wow, thats a surprise. Why would the Knicks take a forward if they already have one by the name of David Lee?? It only means one thing, they're planning for a future without him.If you have questions or comments, please post or email me at countzacky@yahoo.com. Now with Curry gone, it is all but guaranteed that the Knicks will take Jrue Holliday. Yo could hear the Knicks fans in the background booing when Curry was just taken. I wasn't enthralled by him, but I guess most other people were.If you have questions or comments, please post or email me at countzacky@yahoo.com. The Timberwolves just drafted him. So we here at the blog project the Knicks to take either Jrue Holliday, or Stephen Curry. Basically it will boil down to whoever is available then. Chances are one of them will.If you have questions or comments, please post or email me at countzacky@yahoo.com. Don't forget to bookmark us by clicking Ctrl-D on your keyboard.

We'll keep you posted. So far the Knick major targets; Ricky Rubio and Stephen Curry are still on the board. I'd like to see Curry as I generally tend not to trust the foreign players, although Curry has his downsides also. They could even trade the pick, and Darren Collison later with the 28th pick. I'd place bets that they'll take Stephen Curry. However, if I were drafting, I'd take Jrue Holliday. Read Full Story

Joba had a solid performance and A-rod finally got a hit and the Yankees finally won a game. It seems like its been way too long. Joba only went 6 1/3 but that certainly is much longer than some of his previous performances. However, the story of the night has to have been the Yankee offense. After they were shut down over the previous night and essentially being completely turned off over the last 3 games, they finally got it together and tacked up a big 8. A-ro... Read Full Story

For those of you who care about Soccer, and I personally have gotten more and more interested in the international soccer, the USA demolished Brazil 2-0 this afternoon. I'm not 100% sure but based on the odds and what the ESPN people were saying, this would have been like the '64 Mets beating the '27 Yankees 30-0. While that seems almost impossible, that is certainly what this win for USA seems like. We'll see who they play in the Confederation's Cup Championship in th... Read Full Story
