French Airship adveturer Stephane Rousson has been forced to delay his attempt to pedal his way across the channel in his helium filled blimp again this week. He now hopes to be able to begin the journey at some time betwwen the 9th and 18th of June.
The launch for the crossing has been moved from Lydd Airport to Dungeness, where it is hoped wind conditions will be better for the take off.

There’s a lot of good news around at the moment if you’re a fan of the Zeppelin NT Airship.
With news that a Zeppelin could be flying over London this year, this would be the first appearence of a German built Airship in the capitals skys since the First World War. At least this time they’ll be there to offer the public a ‘birds eye view’ of London from the comfort of its 12 seat gondola.

There is soon to be an event, taking place in Canada, which will see the longest journey of a remote controlled airship in the country. The Horizon Blimp will travel the country stopping at around 30 different locations, mainly in rural areas. The blimp will record TV footage from around 450ft and beam them directly onto large screens in the area, showing local farms and grassland which Horizon benefits.
