It's actually a fundamental political philosophy that stems from conventional conservatism. That I do have an understanding on. I dont beleive we should interfere with Cuba, bc i beleive that the United States should not involve it's self in nation building.
That being said, hopefully you can understand where i base my opinion. Loved ones or family memebers is a moot point. Aiding cuban's is against my political philosophy with government money. Government money is key, if americans want to aid Cuba, I would commend that. I do not commend however, any U.S. tax payers money going to Cuba. It's simply a political realm of thought.
However, i do apoligise i honestly meant no direct offense.

Considering your views on politics-I must say I am a little speechless. Why don't we ignore all little countries that are oppressed then?
All I can say to you is that I am clear you have no loved ones, or family in Cuba. You should probably focus on topics you have a little more understanding about.

I think it would be foolish to lift the embargo, simply because the U.S. should deal as little with countries like cuba as possible.
As a general intrest the U.S. should deal less with countries period. The fact is Cuba is a communist country where civil rights are ignored for absolutist ideals. Cuba is not overly abundent inn many resources besides a few things.
So since Cuba ignores civil rights, and is of little value to the U.S. it is not worth either doing business or getting envolved with the country.
