Bodega Bay Realty put together a great video montage of the birds at Doran Beach in Bodega Bay that I thought you would enjoy seeing. Great News!    Bodega Bay is getting it’s own Farmer’s Market, starting on September 4th. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can load up on field fresh produce on the Bodega Bay Community Center grounds near the Nicholas Green Children’s Bell Tower on Coast Highway 1. It will continue on Sunday’s from 10-1 through the 30th of October. Birding is one of the most popular activities in Bodega Bay, in fact the Madrone Audobon Society lists Bodega Bay as the best birding spot in Sonoma County.   I love low tide here “At the Bay’s Edge” because I enjoy watching the heron and sandpipers hunt.  It’s fascinating to watch the process of stalking, it’s quite intense. It’s hard to believe it’s time for the 38th annual Fisherman’s Festival.    This year it’s on April 30 and May 1st at Westside Park in Bodega Bay.
