It is with great sadness that on Monday, May 5th, we said goodbye to our family pet and little brother, Jack! Jack was 9 and a half years old and my mothers faithful companion. He had developed diabetes and suddenly went blind despite all avenues tried to help him! He was in great distress not being able to see and had started to hurt himself. It seems that some days my boys walk around with their heads in the clouds. I keep thinking that one day they will finally pay attention. I made it to my 4 week mark! 4 weeks yesterday I quit smoking. After smoking for more than 26 years I finally kicked the habit. Anyone that smokes and wants to quit - It isn't easy to quit.
