Free Online Vision Quiz For Children

Monkey and I went for our annual eye vision checkup today. I wasn't surprised to learn that the vision in one of his eyes is not perfect, or as the doctor put it, getting a "prescription in it". He is not ready for glasses yet, but I know it is coming. I started wearing glasses at age 10.

One of my PR contacts had sent me information about a free online vision quiz that helps alert parents to potential eye problems. I took the quiz and soon after, the school nurse sent home a slip stating that he needed to have his vision evaluated. Between these two things, I was already mentally prepared to hear what the doctor had to say.

It is so important to make sure that our children's vision is the best it can be. When overlooked, it can cause learning problems down the road.
