This post is a copy of an article written by Sarah Yang. It was copywrited in 2000 by Healtheon/WebMD. I found it pertinent becasue in my divorce it seemed that very few people, if any, had any concern at all about me or how my health or mind was affected. I assume this was because I asked for the divorce. This is an incorrect assumption, as even the person requesting the divorce does suffer greatly, especially if there are children involved. The entire article is quoted.
(WebMD) — Men... Read Full Story

I am completely confused as to why we need such a complex tax code in the USA. It amazes me that people in charge who consider themselves great patriarchs of the people even allow such a thing. The only real explanation is that it is benefiting them and they really don’t want to change something that is benefiting them. Since the majority of the country’s leaders are in the upper class, monetary wise, it must be that the tax codes are in favor of... Read Full Story

Many people may wonder how a person can fall into bankruptcy. Of course, others completely understand the saga.
In part it may be the fault of the bearer that he or she has fallen into bankruptcy. But in many cases, or partially, it becomes the fault of the society that person lives in.
The most well known scenario is of course the person who builds up a certain life style and then loses their job or business. Many times this is not the fault of... Read Full Story

The headline of this post comes from Parade Magazine of July 6, 2008. There was a small law article on needed changes in the divorce courts when dealing with dads and the custody arrangement.
Shared custody has been changing and moving toward helping dads over the last several years but it still is not perfect (nor may never be). Around 50-percent of divorced fathers lose contact with their children after a divorce. 50-percent! Here is another percentage to think about, 85% of divorced... Read Full Story

Introducing Someone New to Your Kids After a Divorce
By Joseph Devine
For anyone involved in a divorce, this can be a painful process that takes time to fully get over the whole ordeal. Many people who have been through a divorce can have many things that need to be dealt with before that person is able to get back into the dating scene again. Once you have gotten back into that scene, you might just end up finding that person that you could see yourself falling in love with. If you have... Read Full Story

In an effort to stir up some controversy and get some interesting replies on this forum it has been brought to my attention that there are occurrences in the country right now that may be seen as very prejudiced against the white man. We do not endorse any personal opinions but here is what people have been writing to us about. There appears to be some discrepancy in the way the great flooding in Iowa is being dealt with as opposed to the past great flooding in New Orleans. It is true that... Read Full Story

After the divorce is final, how does a man know when to stop helping his ex-wife, if he should ever stop? Many men wrestle with this question.
Some men simple leave their ex-wife and never see or speak to them again. If there are no children involved this is many times what happens and probably common. Children will make it harder to completely get rid of the ex-wife’s presence. In addition to children though, many times the ex-wife was dependant on her husband to do things like repair... When did dentistry change? When I was kid the dentist was known as a neighborhood doctor, in an old house, who poked around, very little, at your teeth with that sharp instrument and then brushed your teeth with mostly bad tasting gritty toothpaste (supposedly it was mint, but it still tasted bad). Your rinsed your mouth with a Dixie-type cup, into a cone shaped suction device. If you had a cavity, he filled it right then and there many times. You... Read Full Story

Written by Confusion support on - A person nearly ran into me today while they were, what appeared to be, texting on their cell phone. I had to laugh as I looked down and saw the seat belt I was wearing. The mentality of people totally amazes me. In my state it is illegal to drive, or ride in a car, without a seat belt but not to text message, or talk, on a cell phone while driving. Excuse me people…which one of those appears to be the most dangerous to other drivers? This is an... Read Full Story

This is both an easy and a complex question. It could get ugly in this diatribe, so back out now if you can’t take it. Of course if your wife was / is a bitch, in every sense of the word, and not just because you think so, than a divorce is very understandable. We only live once, and what would your life be like, what would be the value of it if you stayed with such a woman? I can tell you it would be meaningless and downgrading to you. These marriages have every right to be terminated... Read Full Story
