Saigon has finally ended his relationship with Atlantic Records, as he finally announced his departure from the label.
According to SOHH, the delayed release of Saigon’s album The Greatest Story Never Told was the beginning of the dispute between Atlantic and Saigon. Last summer he even threatened to release his album without his label’s permission on his MySpace page. Saigon is currently in pursuit of a deal with another label, having been in talks with many major labels.

An array of hip hop artists recently got hit with some lawsuits. Kanye West, Common, Redman, and Method Man have all been sued for copyright infringement, along with their respective record labels.
