Watch the first 30 seconds, after that he doesn’t move from the spot. I had gone to take a leak without stopping recording. Ouch! My review of the game will be coming out in the Sunday edition of DNA, Bangalore. Will post on this blog on Sunday. =)

There are advantages of following CEO of Indiagames, Vishal Gondal on Facebook/LinkedIn etc. You get heads-up on what he is working on… His latest facebook update brought in another piece of awesomeness for Indians with iPhones. “Cricket super sixes” an app for iPhone.
The gameplay looks simple enough and well there is a limit to use of touch-tech for 3D games on a 2D surface! No idea on the pricing as yet.. but hey its cricket won’t you buy it? =)

Remember the time when Ramayan, Mahabharat used to come on TV. How old my grand mother and other older people used to almost worship the “idiot box.” Well now that a Hanuman game has come out.. will we see something similar? I can just imagine a nanny advising a toddler on how to beat up rakshasas….. =D

I was reading this story on tech2 on the launch of Hanuman the Boy Warrior, but what grabbed my attention was the last line of the story.
A action game based on the Mumbai gang wars will also hit the PS2 platform.
Now hold on… no one mentioned that before. I haven’t got any info on the game other than that tiny line I saw there. I am wondering why they did not t... Read Full Story

Thanks to gamingindians.com we have the first trailer of the much awaited game. Like Ghajini, I am disappointed with the quality. What is the point rushing out a game in 10 months, while compromising on quality?
Sony India head Atindriya Bose was pretty candid when speaking to gamingindians.
This game is solely targeted at entry-level gamers; it’s not something most GamingIndians members would even touch. It’s targeted at kids and families, and from that perspective, it’s a fantastic game. A... Read Full Story

It is a single player game, and he started without any powers and regains it as te game progresses. Hmmm I am reminded of God of War now.. hope its not like a copy-paste with inferior graphics. =P
Here are more details from the playstation Hanuman page
This game is a “growing up” story of Hanuman, where he starts as a powerle... Read Full Story

Sony may not have sold many PS3s in India, but they have succeeded in selling thousands of PS2s and PSPs which is priced at a low Rs7k, Rs9K respectively. Microsoft has noted this trend and they have decided to launch their no-frills model Xbox360 Arcade in the country.
The product will be priced at Rs. 16,500 and is not VERY different from Xbox core. In US, it came bundled with five arcade style games (Pac-Man, Boom Boom Rocket, Feeding Frenzy, Luxor 2, and Uno), a wireless controller, HDM... Read Full Story

Remember Max Payne? Yeah the same dude who could dodge bullets in slow-mo like Neo in Matrix.
He also holds the world record for killing most number of people in a single night. According to rough calculations, he must have killed close to 1,000 people that night. He tried to better his record in Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, but the darn developers made the game too short for him to break his milestone. Never mind, now they are giving him a third chance with Max Pa... Read Full Story

Last month I read an article at Gamasutra on disappointment of Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, at the lackluster sales of Wii in home country – Japan.
"If the U.S. sold two or three times as much as Japan, it would be tolerable," Iwata added. "Yet, I feel that something is wrong when the U.S. is selling ten times as much as Japan on a weekly basis."
That’s what he said.
I read yet another feature in Gamasutra which addressed the issue of “Can You Create A Must-Have Wii... Read Full Story
