12 More Days….

…. and I am really irritated. Why you ask? I really don’t know.

I think it’s because I want it to hurry up and get here, that way I know it is going to happen. This must be my true nature; waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Instead, what I need to do is relax and enjoy the moment. Today. What can I appreciate today? At this very moment? The weather is nice. The kids were decent this morning. I have a job. I have coffee. I have great friends!!! The Gent is awesome!!!

See? I feel better already.

In other news, I just found out my boss is having open heart surgery this Friday! I am a little worried about that too, believe it or not. I will pray.

Anyhoo, The Manchild’s birthday party is this Friday as well. I think once that is out of the way then I can relax. Oh wait, relax now; good friends, nice weather, job, coffee, decent kids….yeah, ok. Check.
