Ancient mysteries intrigue us all;especially near great Akumal. Silencesurrounds wanderers from near and far;still in hush of a people's great fall.Air, hot and heavy with each step, slowlyI move forward to the precipice. "Lioness Winter," by Charmane Rae Kelley Snow storms that pounce;Burying all closeTo it’s earthly womb;Claiming a few livesTo feed it’s young; Then giving birthTo SpringIf you think about it, a winter storm could be compared to a Lioness!
