I received an email yesterday from one of the authors of a new book on Ruth Etting, coming out this fall. Ruth Etting: America's Forgotten Sweetheart, by Kenneth Irwin and Charles O. Am I Idyll? Or am I Wild? How about neither! My stay in the mountains lasted longer than I originally intended - Idyllwild's a beautiful place, who can resist it's charm? But as of this week I'm officially back to civilization, and loving it! Last weekend I got to see a brand new band on the first night of a new tour - Tracii Guns' League of Gentlemen at the 710 Beach Club, in Pacific Beach - and it was a fun show!
