Shady Rest Mammoth - Neighborhood District Plan

On May 13, 2008 from 5:00-6:00 p.m., the Planning Commission started discussions on the
Shady Rest Neighborhood District Plan (NDP) Framework, followed at 6:00 p.m. by a
public workshop with joint Commissions (Planning, Mobility, Public Arts and Tourism and
Recreation Commissions). The Framework includes NDP boundaries and key issues. No
decisions were made on May 13th. On May 14, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., the Planning
Commission approved the Shady Rest NDP Framework as modified by the Commissions
and the public. Town staff and the third party consultant for the Shady Rest NDP, Wallace
Roberts and Todd, will revise the Framework based on the Planning Commission's decision
and will bring the revised Framework to the Town Council for review and approval. The
Shady Rest NDP Framework is anticipated to be brought before Town Council at their
regular meeting on June 4th or June 18th. Please look for further updates in the Friday
