I can clean the box, dry it, fill it and walk by it and I will notice that he has used the box. My cat is healthy and the Litter Maid works perfect. I have a litter maid automatic cat box. All three of my cats have fleas. Sadly he now has sores everywhere, scabs on his neck, back and by his behind. We now have tried the flea collars which seem to be working until on of my cats started biting and licking. .
