So, it has finally happened. The will they wont they debate, that has raged throughout search engine marketing world, has come to an end and Microsoft and Yahoo have finally decided to join forces in the battle against Google. True to form the government has encased microblogging in red tape by producing a 5382 word, 20 page guide to its best usage for government agencies. The document, which would take 259 separate tweets if distributing using twitter, was produced by the department of business’ head of corporate digital channels, and even he is said to have admitted it might be “a bit over the top”!

After the recent vince update Google has been further playing with its by taking localisation into their own hands and taking it upon itself to decide which country specific results a user wants to see.
