To offset our harsh comments on "Point of Impact", Monday's episode of "CSI Miami", link to read Kristine Huntley's review for CSI Files. We don't disagree with most of her piece; she simply was more captivated by the production.http://www.csifiles.com/content/2009/11/review-csi-miami-point-of-impact/As we all knew it would, the CSI Trilogy fueled the ratings for last week. A couple of links, if you have the interest in such things. We continue to be amazed at the audience generated by "NCIS... Read Full Story

"I’m okay with bringing in new folks to replace old ones or to inject new blood into stale relationships, but you have to let your lead be the lead. We watch CSI: Miami for David Caruso, right? He’s the primary reason for me, anyway."So says Scott Parker in his review of "CSI Miami" last night. We've been expecting our views to differ diametrically from those of Parker at some point in time. He, the male mystery writer; we, the reluctant female blogger. This week wasn't the one t... 7 foot Lakers hotshot Pao Gasol is spreading his wings with a venture into acting, a guest spot on "CSI Miami" on Monday, November 16th. Take a peak at the promo video and a couple of articles about "Point of Impact". Pao dwarfs Eddie Cibrian in this photo and everyone in life. We couldn't locate any Pao photos with David Caruso. We'll just have to watch to see how they interact.http://www.spoilertv.com/2009/11/csi-miami-episode-808-point-of-impact.htmlhttp://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/st... Read Full Story

Friends, help us out here. On another whirlwind browse through FaceBook, more than enough for one day, we noticed a link called "David's Causes" on David Caruso's wall. Of course, we took the bait, following it to a list of 22 causes, with donations noted.Referring back to our tirade on publicizing salaries in private industry, we need to add that we would never consider donating to any cause, regardless of worthiness, if our donation was broadcast, as apparently is the case with FaceBook. Yep, we watched all three parts of the CSI trilogy, which concluded last night on LV. Did you see all three? What did you think of them, individually and as a set?We previously commented on both "CSI Miami" and "CSI NY". Those will stand. It's tough to comment on "CSI LV", as we've never been a steady viewer. However, as a whole, they were a ratings success. For diehard fans of any of the three, we doubt any of the three would hold up as a series favorite.Fans of "CSI Miami" would critique t... Read Full Story

Welcome to Friday, the 13Th. Enjoy it! *********************"How much do you make?"Hm! How would you respond to that question? We would take a step back, with a condescending smile hopefully not quite covering a thinly disguised sneer, before replying, "MYOB". Yet Forbes, following the current trend that says the public has the right to know everything, feels it's their duty to post salaries of high profile individuals. Strange, they didn't publish our salary; didn't even ask for it. How abo... Read Full Story

CSI's foray into the world of sequential episodes continued last night with Dr. Ray Langston's (Laurence Fishburne) traveling from Miami to New York. Still in pursuit of a missing girl, victims and suspects pile up. Each city solves a portion of the crimes, yet each unveil another layer, exposing the insidious depths of human trafficking. The glaring differences between Monday's Miami segment and last night's NY portion were not the huge chasm as expected. Due to the vastly different setting... Read Full Story

"CSI Miami" upped their ratings with the first installment of The CSI Trilogy on Monday, which continues tonight on "CSI NY". Several sites showed they pulled in 14 million viewers for sweeps week, though that probably includes the dvr viewers. Still, over a million more than last week, admittedly a low point for them.David Caruso, Laurence Fishburne, and the Miami CSI team began the trilogy with a strong outing; we expect the momentum to continue through Thursday's conclusion.Highly touted b...
