A plea to the fashion world
From:  dorolerium.com
I was recently at my local Target, looking just for stuff, really.  Since I just moved, there are some things I need in this new place that I didn’t have before. Anyway, I pass the clothing section and I am just in love with tons of the dresses I am seeing.  This happens everywhere I go.  The problem?  I am five feet, three inches tall.  This translates to maxi length dresses looking like wedding trains on me.  And it makes me so sad, because I really do want to wear these pretty dresse... Michael Jackson…dead and I can’t say I care
From:  dorolerium.com
I’m not sure if it was a legit comment or not, but someone asked if I intended to post about Michael Jackson dying.  Truthfully, it had not even occurred to me until it was suggested.  And the reason it didn’t occur to me is because his death really doesn’t affect me. I will admit that I like some of the stuff from The Jackson Five.  I’m a sucker for some good motown.  But while everyone else was loving Thriller, Black & White, Billie Jean, etc. I was wondering why... The Dark Knight Part 2
From:  dorolerium.com
Starring Christian Bale & Heath Ledger I was gonna list all the people starring in this movie, then I remembered there are a ton of them so I decided against it. As you can possibly see, I haven’t actually restored all the content here yet.  I debated about not posting anything new until that’s done, but I’m slower than I had anticipated, so I decided to post new stuff.  Although I will freely admit I do not have any “new” content right now, in the sense that... An FYI…
From:  dorolerium.com
I did a really stupid thing recently, and I unintentionally deleted ALL the content here.  Which I feel so dumb about.  Let this be a lesson, internets, do not update your website while tired! I’m in the process of restoring everything, but it will be several days at least before things are back to normal.  So don’t worry, I haven’t abandoned you, I was just a little dumb. Read Full Story
Saved by the Bell - The Wicked Stepbrother
From:  dorolerium.com
Ahhhhh, Jessie’s stepbrother…who wears cowboy boots.  Poor misunderstood asshole Eric. So Jessie’s mom gets married to someone who has a son, Eric.  He’s from New York and is quick to be trouble for everyone.  In the meantime, Belding gets a new car for his wife and wants Slater to put a CD player in it.  Wackiness [...] Read Full Story
True Blood 2:1
From:  dorolerium.com
I wish I could say I was shocked that Sookie and Bill almost broke up again, but this seems to be their pattern.  Which is basically my way of saying that although I had really hoped the new season would be better than the last one, I was a little let down. Don’t get me wrong, [...] Read Full Story
Castle Season 1 Recap
From:  dorolerium.com
I think possibly my favorite thing about this show, aside from Nathan Fillion, is that it’s a simple, every episode kind of ends on its own thing.  I don’t have to think about it, I can just enjoy the whole thing and not think too much or wonder a bunch of things.  Not that I mind that, I love it in Dexter and Dollhouse, but it’s nice to have not thinking stuff sometimes. I’m happy to learn that this show was renewed for a second season, and a full season this time.  I... Read Full Story
The Tudors Season 3 Recap
From:  dorolerium.com
While I love the subject matter on this show, the speed with which they go through it still makes me sad.  So little time was spent with Anne of Cleves and the downfall of Cromwell that I fear people who don’t know anything of what really happened might be confused. See, Henry tells Cromwell he is very pleased with him.  Not a lot goes into showing what actually prompted that being a lie.  I disliked that they left out Henry actually making Cromwell a Duke before he was arrested, and wh... The Sixth Wife by Jean Plaidy
From:  dorolerium.com
I don’t know why I didn’t start reading Jean Plaidy books much earlier.  I love the tales she weaves, the way she really seems to identify with these historical people. Going into this book, I didn’t know a whole lot about Katherine Parr, and to an extent, I still feel like I don’t.  I don’t think this is any fault of the author, I really think it’s simply because there isn’t a whole lot of information about Katherine Parr out there.  We know so littl... Saved by the Bell - Mystery Weekend

Holy Lisa’s outfit!  I wasn’t aware that it was possible to put THAT MANY colors all together in one outfit.  Sometimes I forget how long ago these episodes were filmed…and then I look at Slater’s MC Hammer pants and I remember.  It’s funny to realize how much TV budgets have grown - no way would these shabby clothes be on people in shows these days. And smoking on a show!  Wow, before the days of anti-smoking campaigns! I have kind of had an obsession with murde... Read Full Story
