I think this song is possibly stuck in everyone’s heads right now. And imagine how happy I am that it’s the first single off a new album!
Dying to know what I speak of? It is the always amusing, infinitely strange, Lady Gaga singing Bad Romance.
What do I love about this song? Well, it’s Gaga, first off. I adore her. I think her music is fantastic and though I will admit she is super bizarre, I am drawn to her. If you see her in interviews, she keeps up the weird pers... Read Full Story

Finally, the season finale. And a boring one at that. Nice that the show lived up to its title.
The big fight is here! Johnathan does not seem that impressive in his practice, but he ends up winning! I was pretty surprised by that.
But before that, he gets a couple of threateningish phone calls from someone telling him to throw the fight. He does the funniest thing of the episode: finds the guy, picks the lock, and gets the thing the guy is blackmailing him with. Well, blackmailing Geor... Read Full Story

Ah, we open on the ocean. I love that Dexter takes the whole family out in his boat, especially since we have seen little of the boat this season.
A body is found, ish. Some dude cuts open an alligator and finds an arm in it. Cept the alligator didn’t eat the girl alive, she was dead already, so we have a homicide! Which leads to Dexter killing his first innocent person. But we’ll get to that.
Deb is moving into Dexter’s old apartment, which seems hard on Dexter. Quinn... Read Full Story

The most amusing thing about this episode was that my dog loved the sound effects when Chloe was doing her computery stuff.
So suddenly it’s a huge priority in Clark’s world to find the Kryptonians/Kandorians. Since I know nothing about the Superman mythology, I don’t even know why there’s a need to specify these people are Kandorians. And no, I’m not going to look it up.
At one point in this episode, Chloe tells Clark that Zod has shown up again, and I wonder&... Read Full Story

Stefan’s oldest friend Lexi shows up to celebrate his birthday! She’s a half vegetarian vampire, she gets human blood supplied to her by some guy she dated, but doesn’t feed from actual people. So Stefan is okay with her.
I think that the only reason Lexi really had a part in this episode was to provide a bit of reconciliation between Stefan and Elena. Which is of course unreconciled again at the end of the episode. Because what would possess these two to get along for m... Read Full Story

This was my aunt’s introduction to the series, and I’m sad that it wasn’t a funnier episode to start her out with. Jeff wasn’t really on his game, which was undoubtedly the point of the episode, but he’s pretty funny so usually he makes up for whatever the rest of the show lacks.
Anyway, the premise is that Jeff has been kicked out of his condo due to some meaningless fees. Which makes sense because honestly, how do any of these people make money if they’... Read Full Story

I think so far, there has only been one episode of this show that didn’t make me cry. I can’t remember for sure, I think maybe I wrote about it. Either way, this one was a doozy.
Veronica asks to be transferred to oncology, which is the cancer ward in the hospital, so I knew it was going to be tough when I saw the previews. Cancer is really hard on me, so every time they have a cancer patient in the show, I get upset pretty easily.
In the meantime, she is thinking about telling... Read Full Story

This week I bring you Starstrukk by 3OH!3
I am a little torn about 3OH!3 as a group. If you pay any attention at all to what they are saying in their songs, they’re kind of misogynists. In fact, my sister reported that my cousin told her that the guys from 3OH!3 are jerks. I laughed when she told me that and said “Yeah, have you listened to their music? I didn’t need to know them to tell you that”. For the record, if you didn’t know, 3OH!3 is from Denver, an... Read Full Story

The honest truth about this show is that I wasn’t sure if I was going to watch it up until a couple of hours before it aired. I’m not so into alien shows and didn’t really know anything about this show, but figured it might not be my thing. However, curiosity about that pretty lady in the sky got me to watch, and on the whole, I’m glad I did.
The first thing I noticed, in watching the credits, was that Morena Baccarin was in the show, aka Inara from Firefly. I wonde... Read Full Story

Hayley Blue, of the Bluepills, is found murdered at a scene that is staged to be like one of her videos. Oh, and the episode actually opens with Castle playing Guitar Hero by himself, which was hilarious.
Alexis is really upset by the Hayley Blue death, she’s a big fan of Hayley and the Bluepills, and she is actually helpful in solving the crime. While I love this show, I find it difficult to believe that the police would really work that closely with the public, but whatever.
There a... Read Full Story
