Today’s poem is a similar theme poem I did about spam emails and messages, and is titled “Bit Bucket” referring what happens to computer data that never reaches its target and is discarded by a system. This farcical technical poem just came ot me after seeing the words transactions, messages and defecate. Thanks to the following twitter followers for the 12 random words (in blue) today:

Celery is the only food that takes more calories to digest than it contains averaging about 6 calories a stalk, but burning almost twice that in the digestion process since the celluloid fibers are so tough to break down. This does not mean you will lose weight eating celery, but it does mean if you eat lots of celery in addition to other food in smaller amounts your diet could be augmented so that you will intake less calories and lose weight as a result.
So while other people can try some ... Read Full Story

A good friend of mine is selling his custom chopper named “SLAKR” after several years of touring it at bike shows across the country. Slakr has been featured in several magazines including Rumble, V-Twin and been showcased on the Paul Yaffe Originals website.
Slakr was a Harley Davidson Softail Custom FXSTC that was reborn into the head turning, jaw dropping customized Harley Davidson that it is today.
SLAKR was on display at the 2007 Las Vegas Bike Fest custom bike show where ... Read Full Story

I was using Paint.NET the other day and wanted to see what it would be like to leverage the screen capture of CamStudio with the ability to create animated video’s showing effects you can apply in Paint.Net program, I came up with something that was fairly interesting, but I wish I could somehow convert this to animated GIF file so it could load on a page and constantly repeat. This is my first experiment with capturing live effects applied to a Paint.Net image in real time.

Felt like writing a poetry tonight, usually don’t do two poetry posts in a day, but hey I was inspired.
Hurt Lives
Hurt lives
inside the darkest places
where lives are torn
hearts are tattered
like dirty worn jeans
Hurt lives
lurking like a scavenger
feeding on our carrion fears
drinking our savage worries
until we are dry
Hurt lives
in those who fear
suffering in silence
praying for silence
that may never come
Hurt dies
strength of spirit
bury the undead that haunts
find peace at last

So I take a lunch break this week and next week to take my sons to swim classes, I get in with my two year old and I can’t help but be a little self conscious by my stomach flab while getting in the pool with my kids. I try not to be self conscious and worry about it, after all nobody should stress out over what other people may think about how they look and what not, but I want to keep myself in fairly good physical condition for many reasons including health benefits and being attrac... I realize I have no room to put all my Wii accessories somewhere out of reach from my two year old, and where they can be easily organized. I have to install wall shelves next to my television, I originally had velcro holding the wiimotes to the wall, but the nunchuck cords would hang down and my son would tear them from the wall.
With 3 Wii Motes, nunchucks, guitar controller, Wii Zapper, fifteen games, wireless GameCube controller, I just don’t have a good idea on how to organize all... Read Full Story
