Detroit Resident Raphael B Johnson looking to Restore Faith in the Detroit Community

Detroit resident Raphael B Johnson has been nominated for the prestigious Hoodie awards by Radio Show personality Steve Harvey, but he needs your help to achieve this status. Not to diminish any of the other categories but Best Community Leader is a category in the Metro-Detroit area that we need to support, with the current black-eye Michigan in general has concerning the Mayor’s legal troubles having a positive spotlight on Michigan for a change will be nice.
Why should you consider even voting for Raphael B Johnson, well at the ripe age of 17 he committed a murder that snatched 12 years of his life away from him, but not one to wallow in self-pity he committed to changing his lives of anyone that came in contact with him, not only through his worlds, but his actions, he has been out of the correction facilities for less than 4 years and in that short period of time he has graduated from Detroit Mercy earning a B.A in Legal Administration “summa cum laude” in 2007, one short year later on May 10, 2010 he received his Master’s Degree from Detroit Mercy degree as well. Raphael has completed an internship at the 3rd Circuit Court as a Law Clerk for the Hon. Daphne Means Curtis. During his spare time he is a Day-Time TV Personality on The Maury Show, he is a member of the Legacy Associates Foundation where he serves as Chairman of the Community Involvement. He is also a member of the Detroit Parent Network.
Raphael has authored 3 books during the 4 years he has been released, his autobiography “To Pose A Threat: My Rite of Passage”, has received high acclaim, he has received the Detroit Special Celebration Mayoral Award, and his book has been inducted into the African American Literature Special Collection at Wayne State University in 2007. Mr. Johnson also received the Detroit City Council Testimonial Resolution Award for his published work.
