When you windows need to be cleaned, most of the times homeowners just pick up the phonebook when trying to find a company.

And unfortunately, a lot of people will just choose the first company they see.  Well I would like to offer some advice on how to choose a good window cleaning company.  This is going to be advice coming from my years of experience as a San Diego Window cleaning company.

Now you may be thinking, what’s the big deal when hiring a window washing company.Well to begin, there is a huge amount of companies who just hire anybody to clean windows for them.  They do this without a background check.  Well of course you realize, these same people are going to have access to your house.  With that being the case, wouldn’t you want to make sure the company you choose is a reputable company.It not only could be the difference in a good cleaning job, but it could also mean the difference of items somehow getting lost or stolen from your home.

So what is there to do to find a good company?Well to start, you check to see if the employees are professional, clean, and uniformed.  If they are not, this could be a sign of a company that goes through new employees every week without much screening.

Next thing you want to do is to check to see if the company is bonded and insured.Accidents can and do happen, and if they do, you want as much protection in place as possible.

Third, are they using professional equipment.This helps you in seeing if a company is professional and does good quality work.

Fourth, you are going to want to check to see how long their business has been around.Like most things, longevity says a lot and shows you that you are dealing with a very reputable company.

Finally, you will want to have them provide you past references of past clients.  Nothing speaks louder or provides a better validation on the quality of the work and the company than past customers.  This will allow you to see how well they have performed in the past.
