BLANTYRE, Nov 4, 2009 Malawi Politics Tobacco export receipts in Malawi dropped by nine percent in 2009, due to a 23 percent fall of average prices offered at the auction floors, the country's crop watchdog said Wednesday."The tobacco market sufferred some price setbacks and average prices were down by 23 percent per kilo this year," Bruce Munthali, general manager of the Tobacco Control Commission, told reporters.
