The Implications of Policy

Apparently, there are none.  Just ask these Harlemites - who don’t appear to care too much what the policy is or what impact it may have - they only care that Obama’s name is attached to it.

Not as compelling as using video from Al-Jazeera to paint all conservatives as ignorant racists, but interesting none the less.

Does it strike anyone else as odd that the author of Republican bashing post denigrates an entire side of the political spectrum and labels them extremists by using video from an extremist group with ties to Hamas?  Read the posts and comments and see what you think.

A story as old as time itself.  Disagree with a liberal, and they turn it into a personal attack.  Poor little VM got her feelings hurt, expressed her moral outrage, and claimed victory - but only after disabling my guest blogging account and putting me in comment moderation.  Funny thing is, I had specifically spoken to VM about my unwillingness to be the token conservative on her blog without an understanding that I would only do it if I could say what I thought.  Apparently I was only allowed to say what I thought if I slaveringly agreed with VM’s POV.

Yeah, so my final comment has disappeared down the memory hole - but only after VM claims I chickened out and used one of her patented little smiley faces.  And I get called a fucking retarded redneck by “Zontar the Magnificent” - who’s primary claim to fame seems to be fart jokes.  Perhaps Zontar can get a job with al-jazeera rooting out extremists at McCain-Palin rallys.

See - the funny thing is I really do think VM believes she is some paragon of virtue and defender of America - but of course she loves her country but hates her government.  Funny - that’s a slogan you see in places like Idaho with all of the isolationists and separatists.  No wonder she mounted such a “passionate” defense of William Ayers - they share the same ideology.  Defending America from anti-Americanism?  Not a chance.  Not part of the solution, but part of the problem.  It is nice to see one of the greatest of all liberal institutions alive and well, however - if you don’t agree with the messenger - just censor him.  Nice.

Anyway - topic done for now.  Lesson learned, and a mistake never to be repeated.  Getting mad at me because I don’t agree with you - no problem.  Censoring me because I don’t agree with you - why, that’s absolutely Canadian.  Blocking my access to respond while making fun of me - well, that’s just chickenshit.  With friends like VM, America doesn’t need any more enemies.
