Okay, so I've never decorated for Thanksgiving. We immediately take down our Halloween decorations November 1st and put up the Christmas ones. Today was another big day. We hung curtains in the room that was just completed. That might not seem like a big deal, but I'm a firm believer a room isn't a room until the curtains are hanging. Yesterday was the big day. We finished the final phase of completing room number one...applying the paint. I can't tell you how excited we were to open up the cans of paint and start applying color to the room. For the trim and ceiling we chose an antique white and the walls a nice shade of grey/blue. My home is in complete chaos. Yesterday we moved the dining room to the other house. Our dining room table is an antique and it includes a bench the length of the table. We had a tote bag on the bench and once it was removed it became apparent that I hadn't dusted it in a long time. I am absolutely exhausted. My brain is working overtime, but my body is begging me to crawl into bed. The past two days we have spent at the other house tackling renovations in full force. Between scraping through layers of paint and wallpaper and applying joint compound to the walls and ceiling, my fingers are blistered and bruised. My shoulders, arms and back are throbbing.
