So let’s talk a little bit about the free throws Kentucky has got in this season. Kentucky has made some great free throws but also has missed some bad free throw shots. That is about all I can say but much improvement is needed in our ball handling and turn-overs, after the tromping Indiana put on us 70-51 we are needing Meeks badly. I don't want to get into the mistakes being made and the turn-overs incurred, I even saw lay-ups hitting nothing but air and it is plain to see we need more speed and the old court press like we used to have to see any fruits of our labors. But as always with me and many many more, the support will be there no matter what, the... Read Full Story

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Alex Legion might reconsider transferring from the University of Kentucky basketball program -- or he might consider Michigan. The freshman guard was reconsidering his decision last night and "may return" to UK, according to a report on Sports Illustrated's Web site that cited an unnamed source. Citing that same source, SI.com reported that UK coach Billy Gillispie would be "open" to Legion staying. It is still up in the air about Legion leaving U.K, but my guess is he wants... Jodie Meeks knew he made a mistake by telling earlier that he had gotten hurt, he remains positive about the injury which will keep him off the court, for at least a month; “I just didn’t pay that much attention to it. Andre Woodson threw for 222 yds to help Kentucky who are ranked now at 24 to a victory over Vanderbilt, the score was 27-20. We will have to face Tennesee and Georgia and we will have to beat both of them to to get into the league title game in Atlanta, we will have to dig deep to do this but we can do it and at any rate we are doing better this year since the 1976/77 season so that in itself speaks volumes for me.
