Happy Thanksgiving to all! This year we thought we would take sometime to look at ten of the films we are most thankful for. They might not be the best movies of the year, as this is not the point of the list, but rather the ones that we really enjoyed and are thankful for being made, thankful for their lessons, thankful for their addition to a series and whatever other reasons we can give for being thankful for these movies. Some of these movies you may have not seen and there is some movie... Read Full Story

Landing one of the largest and most interesting fanboy roles with The Green Lantern. We haven’t heard much from Reynolds since the casting but now he had time to talk to MTV about the character and his director as well.
At age 33, Reynolds seemed to be on top of 2009 but its 2011... Read Full Story

Frederator Films blog (via Firstshowing) had an article earlier this week regarding Samurai Jack, the popular series from Cartoon Network. According to the article there was plans for an animated feature for the film as well as a live-action version. The rights were then in the hands of New Line Cinema. Now it seems as if they have landed into the nice well kept hands of JJ Abrams. Abrams is apparently developing a feature animated movie that will combine traditional 2D animation with stereo... MySpace has unveiled the new poster for brothers Allen and Albert Hughes’ The Book of Eli, which comes to theaters January 15. I have been waiting for this film since catching wind of it at Comic-Con. The movie seems like your standard post-apocalyptic film which is awesome. I love Gary Oldman as well who plays the villain, something he does very well.
As far as the poster goes it is nice shot of Denzel sort of giving him that glamour shot.
The Book of Eli, revolves around a lone hero ... Read Full Story
One of my favorite films of the year, Zombieland, is getting sequel, which is no shock as it kind of left you hanging for a little bit. Moviehole recently spoke to Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer, who revealed that they were discussing a sequel to the film in 3-D.
But the most interesting development? Fleischer says the next film will likely be 3-D - yep, mother-hopping three-dimensional Woody vs. Zombie action!!
Believing “the genre really lends itself to [3-D]“, and convinc... Read Full Story
Courtesy of Yahoo, Cinematical and MSN we have been graced with some very sexy new posters for Rob Marshall’s latest on-screen musical endeavor, Nine. Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench and Sophia Loren, the film is based on the smash Broadway show of the same name. I’d have to say that the 3rd one is my favorite out of the bunch.
