E3 Gaming Conference Starts Today
We all love video games, right? Today marks the beginning of the annual E3 conference where all the big players make some of their biggest announcements. Microsoft kicks things off at 10:30am Pacific time with their press conference, while Nintendo and Sony hold theirs tomorrow at 9:00am and 11:30am respectively.
Microsoft already dropped some knowledge yesterday when they announced a price drop for their “Pro” XBox 360. The console, which comes with a 20gb hard drive, now retails for only $299, a drop of $50. They’re also releasing a new 60gb system that will retail for the old $349 price tag. That will hit the streets on August 4th according to Amazon, who is also taking pre-orders for the unit already. If you’ve ever thought of getting an XBox, I’d say now is the time. Hopefully there will be even more awesomeness to report soon.
