Since I an an iPhone noob, I’m learning as I go along. It took me a little while to figure this one out so I though I might share with other people who might be a little slow like me!
To delete an iPhone app that you have downloaded and changed your mind on, just touch and hold on the icon. The screen will go all shakey and a little X will appear in the corner of each icon. Tap the X and you’ll be given the choice to rate the app or not.
That’s it! Read Full Story

… and bought an iPhone.
It is quite possibly the best gift I have ever given to myself. I was getting frustrated with my BlackBerry being all slow and crappy so decided to jump ship and purchase my first ever Apple product. Now that I have, I can’t say that I’ll ever go back!
The biggest surprise thus far, is the outlandish number of apps available! Seriously, there is an app for my every need of want! That being said, I have become so addicted to these apps that I want to know ALL the... Read Full Story

As you can see I’ve started the makeover process (once again) and have gone and BOUGHT myself a functional and customizable theme which I am very hopeful about! There will be a lot of tinkering and playing around with the settings but I hope to have it all fixed up and the way I like it by tomorrow.
I’ll fill you in on some of the details of the theme a bit later, but for now I’m going to get back to work on getting things set up. Read Full Story

Hi all I apologize for the long delay in activity. I promise that I have a good reason! I am not going to go into any details, however I’ll just let you know that there have been many ups and downs in the past few months and I am now happy to report that I have come through with flying colours and am ready to move forward with my life.
That being said, I’d like your help. I am looking to do some volunteer (or even paid!) work for anyone who is needing help with a suicide prevention... Read Full Story

There are all different kinds of geeky things that I do. I don’t fight it anymore, I just give in and embrace it! One of my biggest obsessions is probably watching anything and everything on the Discovery Channel and watching a documentary every night while falling asleep. Sometimes I watch the whole thing with great interest and sometimes I’m so tired that I can’t make it through before I drift off but the thing about bedtime every night is that I learn something.
I lean towards... Read Full Story

I’ve been a big fan of J!nx for a long time and have bought t-shirts both for myself and as gifts. When checking out their blog … errr “glog” recently, I was really impressed and felt like I had to share this and hope that it helps them out even just a little. See this shirt? Pretty cool right? Well the really cool thing about it is that every penny that comes from the sale of this shirt goes right to the San Diego Boys & Girls Clubs which help over 13,000 children!
J!nx recently held 3... Read Full Story

Everyone knows what it’s like to be part of a small fundraiser right? Remember when you were a kid and you had to sell cookies for brownies, or chocolate bars. I remember bottle drives and raffles for my softball team and bingo games for the church youth group. Now these things are on a very small scale but for some small charities, they have the same goal of raising money and not much more starting funds than my softball team had.
Since small charities often don’t have alot of money to... Read Full Story

I have never really discussed the business side of blogging to much degree and last night, a conversation with friends sparked my interest. We were talking about the costs of running a fundraiser or function … or even just a business in general. What are your major expenses going to be?
We all agreed the advertising is a biggie. Be it web advertising, radio, newspaper and print such as fliers, business cards, etc. This morning I came across this for postcard printing . This company called... Read Full Story

I’ve been counting down the days so as you might imagine, I was just a little bit excited for this release!
And I was SOOOO not disappointed! In a word, I LOVE it!! I was already a fan of the music so maybe that’s the kicker. It’s fun to be playing lead guitar and know all the words to so you really feel like you’re rocking out. There’s a good amount of difficulty so it’s not just a cake walk which is something that’s important to me. Easy mode provides a good starting point for kids and... Read Full Story
