It’s the moment I’ve been waiting for.
No, not the birth of our new baby. (Although, yes, that too was highly anticipated in our house.)
My first postpartum glass of wine.
It had to be big and bold. I didn’t want a flavor that would taper into wimpy; I wanted something that would swirl around my mouth, and warm it into a “Thank God I’m not pregnant” smile.

As our daughter celebrates her third birthday and enjoys hamburgers, hot dogs, and cake, the adults at the party enjoyed a nice bottle of Red Diamond Shiraz .
