Update on Give+Take and Concord Free Press

I just received an email from Concord. They have officially run out of copies of Give+Take. They will be introducing a new book early next year. In the meantime, they’re still looking for readers to chart their donations and pass the book on. I plan to have finished reading this book by January and then hold a contest in January to give it away. Be on the look out. Here is the email Concord sent out:

Thanks again for being part of the Concord Free Press. Our first novel, GIVE + TAKE, has already inspired more than $20,000 in generous donations to causes and people in need, from Boston to Edinburgh to Tunis. And that is just the beginning.

If you’ve made a donation and passed along your book, thanks so much for doing your part. If not, now is the time to:
- donate to a group or person you want to support
- chart it on our web site (www.concordfreepress.com)
- give your book away

We are completely out of copies of GIVE + TAKE. So we’re relying on you to pass your book along. The holidays are a great chance to give it to someone new, and to get them involved in what the LA Times calls “an unusual Robin Hood-style publishing model.”

Early next year, we’ll be announcing our second novel, which will out in May. And we will also be introducing an edition of GIVE + TAKE for the iPhone. More news soon.
