This week’s vacation to Taiwan was both relaxing and exhausting. Relaxing as we get to plan our own schedule and choose the places which we want to visit. Exhausting for me as it’s no joke walking/ climbing up and down stairs for 2-3 hours straight carrying Tiger girl in her carrier. Even though she does come down and walk besides us but at the speed that she walks it is equally tiring having to hold on to her and make sure she doesn’t trip while walking.

This week while visiting the Botanical gardens at Tai Chung we managed to catch the Rose exhibition which was currently held. The blooms were simply ravishing. There were many in full bloom and very pretty. I love the light pink roses the best as you can see in the collage above.
I will be posting more pictures of the roses on display later on next week after I have sorted out all the photos.

The icy winds really send chills down your spine. It has really been a long time since I have experienced such a cold. Luckily there were many tasty warm drinks to drive the chills away.
A hot mug of coffee for the hubs.
A pot of apple and chrysanthemum tea which was absolutely refreshing.

I’ve been wanting to try out new hairdo’s for Tiger girl. She doesn’t like me using clips on her hair and would pull them out after they have been placed on her. As a result many of the clips which I have bought for her has gone missing as I can’t remember where she dropped them or misplaced them. Now that her hair is much longer I can try to tie it up in little pigtails. Doesn’t she look cute? At least it’s not so easy for her to remove after I’ve tied it on for her.Maybe when she grows... A few weeks ago the boys were able to go on one of their favourite rides the go-kart. The were ecstatic when they saw the ride at the River Hongbao which we visited. The motorized cars are a real attraction for the kids there and they don’t come cheap at $7 a ride for each boy. Their doting dad willingly paid for the tickets for the ride so the boys can have their 10 minutes of fun. Are your kids into such rides too?
