Are you Ready for 2009??

This will be the last blog entry for this year.  I’m taking a vacation, yeeeah :)  My family is arriving from the UK (yes, I’m originally from the UK) on December 20th and Say Yes To YOU Coaching is closed from December 19th – January 2nd.

If you have messages in your head that are getting in your way re-write the story.  If you feel disappointed by anything that has happened or you regret something or you’ve been hurt or are angry about something take the time to identify the feelings and what they are associated with by writing everything down and then make a conscious decision to let them go.  It’s as easy as holding a pen tightly in your hand and then opening your fingers and letting it fall on the floor.  You can let go of feelings the same way if you choose.

You may need to do this more than once however I promise if you keep focusing on positive feelings, forgive yourself for anything you feel you could have done differently and forgive others for what you would have liked them to do differently any negative messages you are carrying in your head will disappear.

Decide what you want for yourself and go for it.  Take a walk, sign up for a class, take a special vacation, whatever it is you do, make it because that’s what you want to do, not what someone else thinks you should do or must do.

There couldn’t be a better time than now to think about yourself and what YOU want for the coming year and now is the time to set the goals and put together an action plan.  Just because there’s some kind of recession doesn’t mean you have to take part.   Think from a place of abundance and prosperity not from a place of scarcity and poverty.  You’d be surprised what a difference it will make.
