  1. Remember Calcium (it'll help reduce the risk of cancer and osteoporosis too) - Not only has extra dairy proven to reduce tummy fat but also reduce the risk of colon cancer by 28% (women who received 1,300 mg of calcium per a day)
  2. Switch to protein enriched pastas, like Barilla Plus, to increase your fiber and protein but still feel satisfied. The increase in fiber helps us feel fuller and eat less.  Ideally, we should be getting 25 mg of fiber a day. 
  3. Try to workout in the morning if possible because people who workout in the morning tend to burn more calories because the tend to workout longer and harder.

  5. Treat yourself to a small sweet treat to satisfy your cravings but not destroy your diet.  Small cup of healthy ice cream, fresh fruit, yogurt, or fruit puree.
  6. Walk - Walk - walk.  Any walking and all walking will help  you lose weight.  Park your car far away and stop hovering for a close spot.  Take the steps.
  7. Take time for yourself to relax.  Stress is a huge culprit in ruining our weight loss goals.
  8. 15 - 15 rule:  Eat an apple 15 minutes before your meal and reduce your calorie intake by 15% because the apple is satisfying people tend to eat as much as 15% less in calories.
  9. Take a high quality safe multi vitamin.  People who use a daily vitamin tend to be less hungry and have lower BMIs.
  10. Triple your Vitamin C and burn more fat.  Regularly  taking 500 milligrams or more of Vit C may help you burn 30 % more fat while working out (yes, I did say to workout).  We all know that any quality weight loss program needs to talk about working out and eating healthy somewhere.
