Phillies Payroll Analysis and Organizational Depth Chart: Winter 2009
I wrote the other day about the direct needs the Phillies have in 2010 and the possible free agents that could fill those needs. Now, we need to look at the financial situation as well as the long-term situations of each position.
The rules for my organizational depth chart can be found here.
I will update these charts as the off-season progresses, and will likely put them up as a easy-to-access page on the right hand side under “Philly Sports Goodness.”

I like to do as best as I can to be forward thinking and look at things they way I think our GM should, not just from a how to be better next year, but how to be better for the next decade. This helps put things in perspective and I’ll probably reference it a good deal during the off-season.
