I don’t pretend to understand the math of Page Rank (I spent too much time at the back of the class drawing) but I think I can visualise it adequately enough to heat up a website. Is PR the ‘trick’ to make sure your pages are in the main Google results index and have forums got what it takes these days?
From this latest update, I think I am seeing PR the way it used to work, just not as deep and linear. I’m seeing this on this site and others.

I’m observing a new Google Page Rank for my internal pages on a couple of sites I monitor as reported at some other sources.

If I didn’t have a clue how to launch my site and didn’t know my arse from my elbow in social media, here is how I would launch a site today;
Get a domain name. Exact match? I’d certainly consider it.
Put up a holding page with primary keywords once and one link to the domain address. Under optimise but theme the page with the keywords the site will target
Get a link from another website
Spend the next 1-3 months getting your content together behind the holding page.

TIP 22OK so that’s most of the on-page seo I consider dealt with. There’s not that much to it. You can control on-page seo, but I would think Google is looking for flags to demote a website or page, not promote it. So know the issues - know that people spam the hell on site. Try and stand apart while keeping it as simple as you possibly can.

TIP 21The best piece of advice I ever read about creating a website / optimising a website was years ago:
make sure all your pages link to at least one other in your site
This advice is still sound today and the most important peice of advice out there in my opinion. Yes it’s so simple it’s stupid.

A stupid test to see if online casino spam can rank me or get me traffic - from any place.
I noticed recenty depending on what I write in my blog it seems to set off various splog (spam blogs) who nick my content but generally link back. So If I write a post about online casino spam will casino splogs pick it up? Will humans?

As of today I am going to be a lot more careful how I link to people. It’s a pet hate when you see somebody talking about you on a blog and not linking to you properly, or at all, just ask linkbait coach and pal Lyndon Antcliff.
