Before the game I was interested to see how we would line up. With the season done and dusted but for a small miracle, it is a perfect opportunity to see how certain players can improve the side. Wenger has a chance to look at new options and partnerships and tonight he went half way to doing this.
He chose Fabianski in goal which is a good choice. He is thought of highly at the club and with Lehmann on his way out, it seemed natural to chose Lukasz. There is nothing at stake and he has the... Read Full Story
Hello all, well what a weekend… Cesc Fabregas has been voted the PFA Young Player of the Year, and very well deserved. Swoonaldo the ManU answer to Rudolfo Divealotski that famous Portugese ballet dancer, won the PFA award for best moaner, best performer and oh yes, he managed the best player ever to have done a forward somersault followed by a triple salko with two and a half twists, and that was after tripping over his boot laces. Rumour has it that if they hadn’t given him the award, then... Read Full Story
You know the season is over when a manager begins to consider resting his players for an upcoming international tournament. That is exactly what Arsene Wenger has started to consider this week as we enter the last 3 games of a trophyless season. I hope we set a marker down for next season with three wins and Derby are up first on Monday night.
It does make sense to send those called up for Euro 2008, to their national managers in as close to top condition as we can get them. National coaches... Read Full Story
Hello all, and Fabregas the King is feeling very positive today you will be pleased to hear. Many Arsenal fans across the blogs have been discussing my article “The riddle of the missing Millions solved” and the consensus is that when all is considered, Arsenal have to do things the Arsenal Way in order to avoid transfer inflation. I can accept that, but at least the Board will be less likely to use spin in the future, to present it’s agenda.
I have a theory that the huddle was rather... Read Full Story

I apologise for this very poor contribution this morning but I feel gloomy and depressed as along with many other fans I realise that we will be depending upon virtually the same squad as last season, minus Flamini. Add to this the news that Hleb whose ice cream in milan has yielded an official expression of interest then this is yet another kick in the groin and the last thing I wanted to hear. Arsene Wenger is set to rest several players who will have gruelling Euro Championships to face... Read Full Story

On the 12th of April, I broke an exclusive on the blog entitled "The Riddle of the missing millions" it began thus: I am confused, and reports in the Times newspaper yesterday make me feel that someone on the Board had better come clean. On September 24 2007, the Times proudly proclaimed "Arsene Wenger given £70 million to spend as profits rise" Now it seems that the Kitty has shrunk by half to £35 million. Now either the Times level of Journalism has tumbled since September 24 or somebody... Read Full Story
