Wanderlust

So, I think I can safely say that the work day could be over for me if I simply chose for it be and...uh, yeah...left.

But my recent discovery (which is but a most recent instance of a vast array of discoveries that while being new and cool discoveries to me, turn out to be old news to everyone else) keeps me here blogging on ye old ILGD for a minute or two.

And what is this thing that is news to me, but old news you ask? I'm glad you ask. It is Internets phenom, Matt Harding. Indeed, there is plenty o' information on this guy. A wiki, his personal website, and a plethora of sweet youtube videos and other videos on his website that rawk. I figure if I share and this "news" is also new to just one faithful ILGD reader, then my "work" is worthwhile.

So, were you aware of this joker? He has gotten to go all kinds of sweet places! Mostly on Stride Gum's dime and/or just because of the Internets. And, maybe it has just been quick visits, but, well, I'm a wee bit jealous. Like the wiki or the info on his site say, he's gotten some media attention and all kinds of junk just cause of this stuff. Not to mention the fact that it's reward in and of itself. Can I do this? Anyone want to sponsor me? Just contact me here to let me know.

Anyway, this Matt Harding fella, and my discovery of his old news wanderings, has re-intensified my wanderlust. Now, in my first official act towards attaining a similar goal of traveling the world over (even if for but a few brief instances of bad dancing) is to leave here, go home...and...lay on my couch. Sigh.
