On June 8 The Senate voted to let the Federal Reserve slash the fees that retailers would have to pay banks each time consumers swipe their debit cards. One of the biggest stories this week was about the results of a poll taken by the Pew Research Center in which 18% of Americans  said they believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim.
