Pete and I have just found out that one of our newest Gus’ Gang kids, Isaac Bowers, has died.  He was just a few weeks old and was awaiting heart surgery at Vanderbilt.  We will be dropping of one of our GUS Boxes ( G od U nderstands S uffering…care package) when we attend the funeral service.  If you so feel led, please scoot on over to our Gus’ Gang blog and leave a message of condolence or encouragement for Isaac’s parents.  Messages like these were such an encouragement to Pete and I and... I was checking out the online news sites to see if there was anything that caught my attention...and I found this report. I was surprised to find that this shooting took place in Knoxville, TN...where I grew up and where my family still lives. It is incredibly sad that things like this happen... I have always have mixed feelings about kids in entertainment.
