California Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage
The California Supreme Court issued a ruling today overturning California’s laws banning same-sex marriages. In a 4-3 ruling written by Chief Justice Ronald George, the Supreme Court struck down California laws that restrict marriage to heterosexual couples, finding that it is unconstitutional to deprive gays and lesbians of the equal right to walk down the aisle with a marriage license in hand. (Read the decision) The case which led to the ruling came out of the 2004 decision by San... Read Full Story

Eight-graders suspended for not standing for Pledge of Allegiance
It was reporteded in the Star Tribune, by Paul Walsh, that three small-town eighth-graders in Minnesota were suspended by their principal for not standing Thursday morning for the Pledge of Allegiance, violating a district policy that the principal now says may soon be reworded to protect free speech rights. “My son wasn’t being defiant against America,” said Kim Dahl, mother of one of the students, Brandt, who attends Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Junior High School in northwestern Minnesota... Supervisor Carmen Chu supports Communist China!
Tibet Child
On Friday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with the Dalai Lama in India and called on the world to denounce China's crackdown in Tibet. Why hasn't San Francisco Mayor Newsom or that matter the only Asian representative on the Board of Supervisor Carmen Chu come out and condemn these horrific acts? Why does The City even have a Human Rights Commission? Why is San Francisco allowing cultural genocide of the Tibetan peoples to take place instead of voicing the outcry? “We’ve been bullied. We’ve... Read Full Story
"Pure hatred in San Francisco"
"All that is needed for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke What disturbed me the most was how aggressive the pro-Beijing protesters were towards the Tibetans, the protesters concerned about Burma or Darfur, and even some of the Falun Gong members. Simply put, I was watching pure hatred being unleashed! Another disturbing thing I witnessed was how many of the pro-China protesters basically said, "The Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989 didn't happen" and that "it was... Read Full Story

They were all young men of college age who disappeared, usually after a night in the bars, and were later found dead in rivers and lakes. In 40 cases over the last decade, police in several states in America’s mid-west and north-east concluded that the victims had drowned, often after student drinking binges. But two retired New York police detectives last week went public with a startling and macabre alternative explanation for the series of apparent drownings. They say that they have... Read Full Story
Wendy Gonaver fired for refusing to sign loyalty oath
wendy gonaver
Perhaps, if I had Wendy Gonaver for a professor in college, I may not had missed so many classes but that is just me thinking out loud again. Lets put aside for a brief moment that she is HOT for a professor and remind ourselves that she has a Ph.D. So now we have a HOT woman with brains…you know me by now those two combinations are two very attractive qualities in a woman. Yes, I know some of you will call be sexist…well then OK, I am guilty as charge. What can I say, I just love... Read Full Story
6240 Veterans committing suicide each year!

More than 120 veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq commit suicide every week while the government stalls in granting returning troops the mental health treatment and benefits to which they are entitled, veterans advocates told a federal judge Monday in San Francisco. The rights of hundreds of thousands of veterans are being violated by the Department of Veterans Affairs, “an agency that is in denial,” and by a government health care system and appeals process for patients that is...
