I've never felt fully comfortable doing purely outreach events that cost a lot of money and then begging students to bring friends to make the event work.This year we did an overnighter which went fantastic. Our staff meeting got canceled yesterday and since Tuesday nights are my youth night it was great to not have to come in at 10am when I stay most Tuesday nights till 10pm. So I got to take half the day off and spend time with my family...But today was an all day vision day...So the trade off of a half day off yesterday meant a whole day with the staff dedicated to refocusing us on the vision of the church...They always turn into long days of dialogue but I think it was worth it...Good though...
