Eloqua Demand Generation Solution

We've been reviewing demand gen tools to help us manage our leads and today we made a commitment to Eloqua.

We talked to multiple vendors in the space, did the demos, talked to the customer references and to analysts from both Forrester and Aberdeen. We had a lot of scenario meetings and internal reviews and finally decided to go with Eloqua.

They are the leaders in the space and have a broad range of functionality and tools that fit our specific needs. We have been warned about a certain level of complexity that comes with having this full toolset, but we made the determination that we do have the staff to implement and manage a tool like this and we didn't want to look up 6 months from now and have limits on what we can and can't do with it.

This is an important investment made with the goal of making the most of each and every lead and opportunity in what is sure to be a challenging economy in 2009. I'll attempt to chronicle our efforts here on this blog so you can see how it goes. Stay tuned.
