A Secret to Tell

Dear Friends,
I learn something new everytime I watch the movie The Secret. Last night, my hubby and I watched it for the third time. The first time, the movie gave me joy; the second time reinforced that joy; the third time...ah! The third time! It sank, and is sinking, into the deepest levels of my heart. Epiphanies are bubbling up from those levels like long lost sweethearts. I used to know them, didn't I? 
What I remember at present is indescribable. I will watch the movie again and look for the words to tell you more about this. The feeling is enormous, and it is very, very good.
"Let your spirit soar!" Greg Mortenson wrote to me in his book, Three Cups of  Tea. And so I am. A psychic, the lovely Terri Jay, recently told me that I exercise repressions that started in my childhood. I wonder if Greg and Terri are addressing the same coin, different sides? When I experience the joy I feel as a result of watching The Secret, I think maybe so. Why am I not experiencing this joy every day? Every minute? Why not? Even when the bad news hits, I can deal with it in love and joy. How better prepared can I be? I am not interested in repressing this joy.
As a result of watching the movie, I have created vision boards. You know what they are, don't you? They are boards filled with pictures of things you want. Currently, I have five of them. One has things that I am grateful for: there are photos of my husband, Becki my dear dear Becki lovely loyal friend, my daughter Boo (also known as Rose) beautiful baby Boo (she'll always be "my baby!), my Diggy Dog the Darling Dyli, me (I am grateful for my life!!!), and other loved ones. Also my house. I love my house. It has good Feng Shui.
The second board has people who inspire me. I have some classics on that board: Ghandi and Mother Theresa, plus lesser knowns such as Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa (who???? If you don't know - google him! Awesome story!!), and Greg Mortenson is on that board, too. He, almost single-handedly, created the funds, the materials and the labor to build about sixty schools, many for girls, in remote areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Think about it. wow. I am far from the deeds of these people, but they help me want to be a better person.
The third board has something I want next year: a beautiful and happy wedding for my engaged daughter. I have printed photos of laughing brides and singing crowds and smiling wedding guests. The Secret tells us that if we experience something as if it as already happened, acccompanied by the joy, it will manifest. (Key words: it will)
The fourth board has faces of happy children of different races. Children and their happiness is a passion for me, and I want to work with them. I've missed them since I retired from teaching. I signed up to volunteer at Casa de Amparo recently, a home for children who become wards of the state as a result of feeling inspired by Greg Mortenson. And I've been thinking about doing it for a few years. I am excited about the possibilities.
The last board has nothing but $1,000 bills on it. And a pciture of a CD from my radio show. I wrote $500,000 on this board because I want to fund all the happiness on those other boards. Yep. It's happening. $500,000 in a year.$25,000 before March next year. Above and beyond all other income. With love and reverence for all good things, I feel it happening.
Tomorrow, I attend the premiere of the movie, The Power of Mentorship. It is being touted as the sequel to The Secret as it involves the application of the principles of The Laws of Attraction. Bob Proctor, Marie Diamond, and John DeMartini, who were in the movie The Secret, will be present for the premiere because they're in this movie, too. I interviewed the co-producer of The Power of Mentorship, Melinda Boyer, for my radio show, The Mother Daughter Club, and she talked about how the movie came into being. As a result, I have been invited to the premiere, plus, I will interview some of the players for The Mother Daughter Club (which isn't just for women, by the way! We listen to men, too!) Look out NBC, ABC and you other network moguls! Move your mammoth cameras aside because I'm coming, and I'll have my miniature digital recorder with me, stuffed neatly into the palm of my hand. haHA! Recorder in hand, cape flying straight out from shoulders, wind whipping hair! That's how you'll know me! Yeah.
