Lakers Show Championship Toughness
Lakers in 6. That has been my rallying call since game one in the Western Conference Finals. The Los Angeles Lakers ended up beating the Denver Nuggets in 6 games. How lucky am I? I can tell you that luck had nothing to do with the Lakers winning. They did it by learning from their mistakes in the past. From facing adversity. From growing into a championship calibur club. The Denver Nuggets are not ready to make that step yet. And I don’t believe neither the Cavs nor the Magic are ready... Read Full Story

Game 1 Without Manny
I had bought tickets to last nights game a couple of months ago. Who would have known I was going to attend the first suspended game for Manny. The mood of the fans entering Dodger Stadium was a somber one. The crowd seemed very subdued. That  feeling quickly went away after the first inning. The Dodgers came out swinging. They built a 6 - 0 lead with the help of a grand slam home run by Matt Kemp. The crowd woke up and it was a great feeling to be amongst craziness in the stands. The euphoria... Read Full Story
Fish is the man
I’m tired of hearing all these ex NBA players and NBA analyst say that what Derek Fisher did against Luis Scola was a horrible thing. Your wrong. It may not have been the smartest thing he’s done but it was not the dumbest either. The ting all of you have missed is that Fish was defending one of his own. He was telling the Rocket’s that if you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. Team unity is what he was preaching. Missing one game won’t hurt the Lakers. I do... Read Full Story

Lakers Round One Playoff Grade
The Lakers have disposed of the Utah Jazz in 5 games in the first round of the NBA Playoff’s. Not bad. Not that good either. What seemed to plague the Lakers all year long reared it’s ugly head again in the playoff’s. The Lakers build double digit leads (sometimes into the 20’s) only to see them disappear as the game goes on. Luckily for the Lakers, they also were able to fight it off. The same thing they did time and time again during the regular season giving them  6... Read Full Story
Dodgers Opening Day
Dodger Stadium Opening Day 2009
There’s something about opening day in baseball. The stadium, the food, the fans, the memories, but most of all hope. Hope that your team will still be playing in October. I was really looking forward to opening day at Dodger stadium this year.  I had bought tickets with my best friend and both of us were planning on meeting up with family and friends to tailgate before the game. Unfortunately for us, traffic had other ideas. We never did make it to the tailgating and when we finally sa... Read Full Story
I’m happy. Baseball season is here. Coincidence? I think not…
I love this time of year. Baseball season is here. All is good in the world. Ok. Maybe not so perfect. But still, it is a great time of year. Time for going to baseball games, eating hot dogs, peanuts, drinking beer, teaching my son more about the game, singing “Take Me Out”, watching a game at a local bar, and most importantly: cheering on your team becuase anything is possible right now. I went to an Angel’s game on Tuesday with some friends and I am going to the Dodgers h... Read Full Story
A Sad Day For The Angels
My heart goes out to the teammates, friends, and family of Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart. Today is a sad day for Angel and baseball fans alike.  Nick Adenhart died this morning from injuries sustained from a car accident Wednesday night. The early reports are that a car ran a red light then slammed into the side of Nick’s car. The driver of the car that ran the red light then ran on foot from the scene. He is suspected of drunk driving. Two other people also died as a result of the crash... Read Full Story
